Product Description

Intelligent non-contact type level detector(Hereinafter referred to level detector) adopts advanced signal processing technology and high speed signal processing chip, break through the effects of vessel wall thickness, realized the real non-contact measurement for the level height in the sealed vessel. Level sensor(probe) installed on the top and bottom(the high level and the low level) of the measuring vessel wall, non-metal vessel do not need to drill a hole, easy installation, good for the production. Can be used for different kinds of toxic, strong acid, strong alkali, and all kinds of level measurement in the high pressure sealed vessel or tank. The application of this product is very wide, no special requirements for liquid media and vessel material.

XKC-Y26-xxx series product specially for non-metal pipeline level measurement, there are 3 signal outputs, they are high and low level output interface, NPN output interface. PNP output interface, and they also have three models for the three outputs.

Product Feature

Working Principle

Intelligent non-contact level detector is using water detection capacitance to detect whether the liquid is present, when there’s no liquid access to the detector, there’s static capacitance due to distributed capacitance exist in the detector, when the level rise and close to detector, the stray capacitance of the liquid will couple to this static capacitance, make the final capacitance value of the detector become bigger,this changing capacitance signal input into IC to convert the signal, making the changing capacitance convert to some changing signal, and then by a certain algorithm to detect and determine the extent of the amount of change, when the change exceeds a certain threshold level reaches the sensor point.

Application Conditions

(1) Measuring liquid media viscosity
  When dynamic viscosity <10mPaS normal measurement. When 10mPaS< dynamic viscosity <30mPaS might affect the measurement. When dynamic viscosity >30mPaS due to massive liquid attached to the vessel wall, can not measure.

Note: As the temperature increases, the viscosity decreases, most of the high viscosity liquid is more affected by temperature, so when you measure viscosity liquid, you need to pay attention to liquid temperature effects.
